If you need to send a text to somebody, write your message in the app and send it to their mobile number. You can also receive text messages in the app.

How It Works

Create a space

In the app header select  (+)  and select ‘create a space’



Title Space

In the space title, enter the destination phone number in +E164 format. For example, if the phone number is +1 (416) 800-4747, the title should be something like "+14168004747".


Add users

Within the created space, add the user "text_message@iristel.com". This enables the sms functionality.


Send Text Messages

  • You can now send SMS messages by typing your message in the message input field and hitting send.
  • Congratulations! You have successfully set up a space in Webex and configured it to send SMS messages using the Iristel SMS service.
